It does have moments in which the experience is weighed down by bugs (like crowds looking very fake in the cut scenes) but overall I'm still enjoying the hell out of this game.
Oh there were a lot of bugs. Especially in the cutscene. People just pass through you. Im not sure about the ending though. I have no idea what was going on with Desmond and the Gods.
Yeah, THAT was disappointing in the extreme. I thought Ubisoft would have known better than to make something like that. Still, Connor's story was solid.
Connor, Ezio, Altair. Their stories were always solid! Its desmond I dont understand. Feels like they complicated it just for the heck of it. Anyway, I guess, all we can do is wait and watch..err, and play.
Connor had a lot of depth to his character and so did all the other characters but when his dialogue just made me go wooooaaaahhhhh whenever he said something profound. I did like Haythem too, despite him being a Templar. The gameplay and graphics took a little getting used too since it was quite different to the previous games (combat, the Frontier ect.)
But that ending..... it left me somewhat drained so I walked around my house confused for the whole day.
love it, all the animations are a fest for the eyes and the feeling of reliving history is denser than ever (bunker hill chapter was amazing).
Also nice how they managed to make the assassin-templar plot less black against white and more grey. Actually feel like the assassins are the bad guys at some points.
Little strange that like 70% of the content seem to be optional, I fear I could miss alot. Desmond scenes are cool too, was about time! <3
I can't force myself to play it for extended periods of time. Connor is amazing but I just sit there going 'oh god someone finish this for me'. Then again, that's the way I've been since ACB. These games feel more like a chore than anything else. But, it is pretty good from what I have made it through.
